Privacy policy

Version 1.0, 8 November 2026. This is a translation: if the two versions differ, the French version prevails.

In short: I email businesses using details they have made public themselves. I buy no lists, use no trackers, and a simple "stop" is enough to never hear from me again.

1. Controller

Maxime Silla Pellicer, French sole trader (trading as RenewMyPage), 19 Rue des Causses, 91940 Les Ulis, France. Contact: contact@renewmypage.com.

2. Businesses I contact (prospecting)

Data used: business name, trade, address, phone number, business email address, website address, and my notes about the site (for example "not mobile friendly"). If the published email address contains a person's name, that name is processed too.

Source: only public sources where the business published these details itself: the open map database OpenStreetMap and the business's own website (home and contact pages). I do not buy or rent any list.

Why: to offer the business a newer website, show it a preview, send at most one follow-up email, and honour opt-out requests.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in offering businesses a service related to their trade (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Emails only go to business addresses, about the recipient's trade, and always include an easy way to opt out. For the United Kingdom, emails are only sent to companies, as allowed by PECR; for the United States, they follow the CAN-SPAM Act (postal address and opt-out in every email).

Previews: a preview only uses the business's public information. It is published at a private address excluded from search engines and deleted 30 days after the email is sent, or immediately on request.

3. Customers

To perform the contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and meet accounting obligations (art. 6(1)(c)): Customer name and contact details, site content, correspondence, invoices. Payments are handled by Stripe: I never see or store card numbers.

4. Visitors to this site

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics. The host logs technical data (IP address, browser, page requested) for security and to keep the site running.

5. How long data is kept

DataPeriod
Business contacted, no reply12 months after the first email, then deleted
Business that replied but did not buy3 years after the last exchange
Opt-out request3 years, email address and date only, so the person is not contacted again
Website preview30 days after sending, or less on request
Customers: contract and correspondenceLength of the contract, then 5 years
Invoices10 years (legal requirement)

6. Who can access the data

Only me. I do not sell, rent or share any data. Technical providers process it on my behalf:

Transfers to the United States rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework these companies have joined, or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

7. Your rights

You can access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its use, and object to prospecting at any time without giving a reason. The easiest way: reply "stop" to one of my emails, click the unsubscribe link it contains, or write to contact@renewmypage.com. I reply within one month at most.

If you think your rights are not respected, you can complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (3 Place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, www.cnil.fr), or to the authority in your own country (in the UK, the ICO).

8. Security

Data is stored on a password-protected computer with full disk encryption, and with the providers above. Each provider account has its own password.

9. Changes
